Ansambl za ranu glazbu Marco Polo nastao je 2008., a specijaliziran je za ranu, pretežno renesansnu vokalnu i vokalno-instrumentalnu glazbu. U jedanaest godina postojanja ansambl je održao niz uspješnih koncerata u Hrvatskoj, Njemačkoj i Irskoj (Zagrebačke ljetne večeri, Klovićevi dvori, Rovinjski ljetni festival, Katedrala sv. Eufemije, Eufrazijana, Lubeničke glazbene večeri, Večeri u Sv. Donatu, Crkva sv. Marije u Dublinu, Berlin i dr.) te privukao pozornost kvalitetom i originalnošću. Uz europske majstore na repertoaru su i skladbe hrvatskih skladatelja. Okosnicu ansambla čine profesionalni glazbenici i školovani pjevači, a pokretač i dirigent je Ante Milić.

ANTE MILIĆ diplomirao je i magistrirao glasovir na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu. Tijekom školovanja osvojio je nekoliko nagrada na pijanističkim natjecanjima u Hrvatskoj i Italiji: treću nagradu u Senigaliji (1984.), prvu nagradu u Udinama (1985.), drugu nagradu na JNMU (prva nagrada nije dodijeljena) te Nagradu Darko Lukić (Zagreb, 1987.). Nastupio je u desetak europskih zemalja te kao solist uz pratnju većine hrvatskih orkestara (Zagrebačka filharmonija, Simfonijski orkestar HRT-a, Zagrebački solisti, Hrvatski komorni orkestar, Dubrovački simfonijski orkestar, Puhački orkestar HV-a i dr.). Od 1998. docent je na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu.

Godine 2005. diplomirao je dirigiranje u klasi Vjekoslava Šuteja.

Pokretač je pijanističkog ciklusa Piano fortissimo, orkestra Nota bene, puhačkog ansambla Grand Winds te renesansnog vokalnog ansambla Marco Polo.

The Marco Polo Early Music Ensemble was founded in 2008, and is specialized for early, mostly Renaissance, vocal and vocal-instrumental music. Ever since its foundation, the ensemble has given a number of successful concerts in Croatia (Zagreb Summer Evenings, Klović Court Atrium, Rovinj Summer Festival, St. Euphemia’s Basilica, three concert tours around Istria, etc.). The group performs in historical costumes. The repertoire includes European masterpieces, as well as works of Croatian composers of the age. The frame of the ensemble consists of professional musicians and educated singers, and the founder and conductor of the group is Ante Milić.

ANTE MILIĆ completed his studies and earned his master’s degree in piano at the Zagreb Academy of Music. During his studies, he was awarded a number of prizes at piano competitions in Croatia and Italy: Senigalia, 1984 (3rd prize), Udine, 1985 (1st prize), Yugoslav National Competition (2nd prize, no 1st prize awarded), Darko Lukić Award in Zagreb, 1987. He has performed in ten European countries, and as a soloist with most of Croatian orchestras (Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, Zagreb Soloists, Croatian Chamber Orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Croatian Army Wind Symphony Orchestra, and others). Since 1998, he has been assistant professor at the Zagreb Academy of Music.

In 2005, he completed the studies of conducting in the class of Mo. Vjekoslav Šutej.

Gudački kvartet Rucner utemeljio je 1998. bračni par Snježana i Dragan Rucner, njegujući tradiciju komornog muziciranja klasičnog i suvremenog repertoara, kao i izvođenje djela suvremenih hrvatskih autora. Tijekom svog umjetničkog djelovanja kvartet je u ciklusu koncerata komorne glazbe Četiri godišnja doba ugostio više od 200 glazbenika i praizveo više od 90 skladbi. Uvijek promovira hrvatske skladatelje na svojim mnogobrojnim gostovanjima u Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu (Italija, Francuska, Poljska, Austrija, Švicarska, Egipat, lzrael, Kina, Australija, Španjolska, Grčka, Njemačka, Litva, Slovenija, Bosna i Hercegovina, Srbija). U svim godinama svoga djelovanja kvartet podržava mlade talentirane glazbenike, omogućujući im nastupe na svojim koncertima. Od samog osnutka jedna od stalnih aktivnosti Gudačkoga kvarteta Rucner humanitarni je rad.

 

Za svoj dosadašnji rad osvojili su dvije prestižne nagrade: Diplomu Milka Tmina         Hrvatskog društva glazbenih umjetnika i Nagradu Vatroslav Lisinski, koju  dodjeljuje Hrvatsko društvo skladatelja za doprinos hrvatskom glazbenom  stvaralaštvu. Objavili su jedanaest nosača zvuka, od kojih je pet nominirano za  Glazbenu nagradu Porin u kategoriji albuma klasične glazbe.

 

Maria Mikulić Štimac diplomirala je na konzervatoriju Rimski-Korsakov u St. Petersburgu, Rusija, gdje se i usavršavala. Magisterij glazbene umjetnosti stekla je na Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst u Grazu, Austrija, i na Muzičkoj akademiji Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Kao samostalna umjetnica nastupala je diljem Hrvatske i u inozemstvu (Rusija, Mađarska, Njemačka, Italija, Austrija, Srbija, Bosna i Hercegovina, Japan), solistički i u komornom sastavu. Nastupala je na domaćim i međunarodnim festivalima. U više navrata snimala je za Hrvatsku radio-televiziju, a snimila je i šest CD-a. Godine 2011. u svojstvu umjetničke ravnateljice organizirala je i pokrenula Međunarodni festival klasične glazbe Art Novi u Novom Vinodolskom.

 
U okviru doktorske disertacije na Filozofskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Splitu obradila je rukopise neobjavljenih djela za klavir i komornih djela s klavirom Antuna Dobronića. Rezultat tog rada je hrvatska praizvedba Dobronićeva djela Bosanska rapsodija (1939.) za gudački kvartet i klavir, koja je dio večerašnjeg programa.

 

The Rucner String Quartet was founded by the couple Snježana and Dragan Rucner in 1998, wishing to nurture the tradition of chamber music-making of both classical and contemporary repertoires, as well as to perform works by Croatian contemporary composers. In the course of their artistic activity the Quartet hosted over 200 musicians and first-performed over 90 musical works within their chamber music concert series Four Seasons. The Rucner String Quartet promotes Croatian composers on their numerous concert tours at home and abroad (Italy, France, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Egypt, Israel, China, Australia, Spain, Greece, Germany, Lithuania, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia). Ever since its founding, the Quartet has been supporting talented young musicians by presenting them within their concert programs. From the very beginning, humanitarian work has been one of the main activities of the Rucner String Quartet. Their artistic work has been recognized through numerous awards in Croatia. They have released eleven CDs.

Pianist Maria Mikulić Štimac graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg. She earned her master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz and at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. As a member of the Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association, she has performed in Croatia and abroad (Russia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Austria, Japan, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina), both as a soloist and within chamber ensembles. She has also performed at numerous Croatian and international music festivals. She has released six CDs. She leads artistic piano workshops.

In her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, Maria Mikulić Štimac analysed the manuscripts of unpublished compositions for piano, and chamber music pieces with piano by Antun Dobronić. One of the results of her research work is the first performance of Dobronić’s Bosnian Rhapsody (1939.) for string quartet and piano, also on the program of this evening’s concert.

Nataša Antoniazzo diplomirala je i magistrirala solo pjevanje na Muzičkoj akademiji Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Usavršavala se na majstorskim tečajevima Sene Jurinac u Beču, Grace Bumbry na Međunarodnoj ljetnoj akademiji Mozarteum u Salzburgu, Jonathana Morrisa u Švicarskoj i Ruže Pospiš Baldani u Zagrebu. Dobitnica je nagrada na međunarodnim pjevačkim natjecanjima, kao i uglednih stipendija i priznanja, među kojima se ističe i Rektorova nagrada Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Nataša Antoniazzo redovito nastupa kao solistica u Hrvatskom narodnom kazalištu u Zagrebu, te na mnogim europskim opernim pozornicama. Njezin raznolik i bogat repertoar obuhvaća glazbu različitih stilova, od baroka sve do 21. stoljeća. Osobito joj leže djela bečke klasike (Ch. W. Gluck, W. A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven), romantizma (G. Rossini, H. Berlioz, G. Verdi, R. Wagner) i talijanskog verizma (G. Puccini).

Snimila je komorna djela F. Kuhača za Hrvatsku akademiju znanosti i umjetnosti. God. 2013. izdavačka i diskografska kuća Cantus objavila je njezin prvi CD pod naslovom Barokna glazba sjeverne Hrvatske. U prosincu 2016. njemački Antes Edition / Bella Musica Edition izdao je njezin CD sa skladbama Mignon iz pera različitih autora, a na Goetheove stihove, koji je snimila u suradnji sa svojom stalnom pijanisticom Mijom Elezović. God. 2018. ista joj je diskografska kuća objavila CD pod naslovom Hrvatska umjetnička solo popijevka. Svjetsku distribuciju obaju posljednjih CD-a preuzela je tvrtka Naxos.

 

Nataša Antoniazzo studied singing at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She concluded her studies with a master’ degree. In addition to her studies, she participated in master classes given by Sena Jurinac in Vienna, Grace Bumbry at the International Summer Academy Mozarteum in Salzburg, Jonathan Morris in Switzerland and Ruža Pospiš Baldani in Zagreb, Croatia. Ms. Antoniazzo is a laureate of international music competitions and an awardee of prestigious scholarships and grants, among them the Dean’s Award of the University of Zagreb.

Nataša Antoniazzo gives regular performances as a soloist with the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, but also on many other European opera stages. Her diverse and far-reaching repertoire encompasses music from different styles starting with the baroque era and stretching all the way to the 21st century. She is particularly at home with the Viennese classics (Ch. W. Gluck, W. A. Mozart, L. v. Beethoven), the Romantic era (G. Rossini, H. Berlioz, G. Verdi, R. Wagner) and the Italian Verismo (G. Puccini).

Ms. Antoniazzo made recordings of chamber music by F. Kuhač for the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. In 2013, the renowned Croatian CD label Cantus issued her first CD with recordings of North Croatian Baroque Music. In December 2016, the German ANTES EDITION / BELLA MUSICA EDITION released her CD of various settings of Mignon Lieder after Goethe, recorded in collaboration with her piano partner Mia Elezovic and the world distribution OF NAXOS. In 2018, the same label released a CD which is in the world distribution for the very first time: Das kroatische Kunstlied or Croatian Art Songs with NAXOS.

 

Mia Elezović diplomirala je glasovir u klasi Zvjezdane Bašić na Muzičkoj akademiji Sveučilišta u Zagrebu 1994., u dobi od 19 godina, a 2001. i magistrirala. Usavršava se kod Hansa Petermandla na Sveučilištu za glazbu i izvedbene umjetnosti u Beču, a zatim kod Herberta Seidela na Sveučilištu za glazbu i izvedbene umjetnosti u Frankfurtu.

Drugi je magisterij (interpretacija suvremene glazbe) stekla na glasovitoj Manhattan School of Music u New Yorku. Dodatne ideje i poticaje primila je na majstorskim tečajevima koje su vodili Bishop Kovacevich, E. Picht-Achsenfeld, L. Hokanson, J. Perry, J. F. Antonioli, J. O’Conor i M. Suk.

Mia Elezović održava brojne recitale u Europi, Kataru, Japanu i SAD-u, ali jednako je tražena i kao komorna glazbenica uz različite sastave. Kao solistica nastupila je uz orkestre pod ravnanjem dirigenata, kao što su Kazushi Ono, Pavle Dešpalj, Ralphe Pascal, Tara Simocic i Luca Pfaff.

Dobitnica je nagrada na natjecanjima u Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu, kao i Rektorove nagrade Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Primila je i nagradu njemačke Zaklade Da Ponte.

 

Mia Elezović studied piano with Zvjezdana Bašić at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, where she graduated 1994 at the age of 19, and in 2001 did a master’s thesis. She continued her piano studies with Hans Petermandl at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna. From there she went on to do graduate studies with Herbert Seidel at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.

She completed her second master’s degree (Contemporary Performance Program) at the renowned Manhattan School of Music, New York. The artist gained additional ideas and stimulations in master classes by S. Bishop Kovacevich, E. Picht-Achsenfeld, L. Hokanson, J. Perry, J. F. Antonioli, J. O’Conor und M. Suk.

She has been giving numerous piano recitals in Europe, Qatar, Japan and the USA, but is also very much sought after as a chamber musician appearing with different ensembles. As a soloist, she appeared with a number of orchestras and conductors, e. g. Kazushi Ono, Pavle Dešpalj, Ralphe Pascal, Tara Simoncic, and Luca Pfaff.

The pianist is the laureate of national and international piano competitions. She is a recipient of the Dean’s Award of the University of Zagreb and also received an award by the German Da-Ponte-Stiftung.

Julia Trintschuk počela je učiti gitaru u dobi od četiri godine, a prvi joj je učitelj bio njezin otac, Anatolij Trintschuk. Već kao šestogodišnjakinju počinje ju podučavati Mario Sicca u Stuttgartu. Njezini učitelji poslije su bili Martin Wiedmann, Johannes Monno, Ivo i Sofija Kalčev te Mateus Dela Fonte, u čijoj je klasi 2018. diplomirala s najvišim ocjenama.Trenutačno pohađa magistarski studij na Visokoj glazbenoj školi Robert Schumann u Düsseldorfu, u klasi Joaquina Clercha. Dosad je osvojila mnogo nagrada na državnim i međunarodnim natjecanjima gitarista i mladih glazbenika. Među posljednjim uspjesima ističu se prva nagrada na Natjecanju Andres Segovia u La Herraduri (Španjolska, 2019.), treća nagrada na Međunarodnom natjecanju mladih gitarista u Zagrebu (2018.), treća nagrada na Međunarodnom gitarističkom natjecanju Zory (Poljska, 2018.) i prva nagrada na Međunarodnom gitarističkom natjecanju u Tivtu (Crna Gora, 2018.). Od 2017. Julija Trinčuk na popisu je umjetnika tvrtke Savarez, a iste je godine objavljen i njezin prvi CD pod naslovom Giocosa.

Koncertnu karijeru mlada je umjetnica započela kao 16-godišnjakinja izvedbom solističke dionice u glasovitom Conciertu de Aranjuez Joaquina Rodriga. Otada je kao solistica i komorna glazbenica nastupila diljem svijeta, u Meksiku, Rusiji, Portugalu, Poljskoj, Slovačkoj, Finskoj, Hrvatskoj, Crnoj Gori, Italiji, Španjolskoj, Švicarskoj, Austriji, Njemačkoj i Nizozemskoj.

Julia Trintschuk began learning the guitar at the age of 4 with her father Anatolij Trintschuk. At the early age of 6 she became a student of Prof. Mario Sicca in Stuttgart. Later she studied with Martin Wiedmann, Prof. Johannes Monno, Ivo and Sofia Kaltchev and Mateus Dela Fonte, in whose class she graduated in 2018 with distinctions.

Currently, she is doing her Masters degree at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, in the class of Prof. Joaquin Clerch During. So far she has received many prizes at national and international guitar and music competitions. Her latest achievements are the first prize at the Andres Segovia Competition in La Herradura (Spain, 2019), the third prize at the International Guitar Competition Zagreb (Croatia, 2018), the third prize at the International Guitar Competition Zory (Poland, 2018) and the first prize at the International Guitar Competition  Tivat (Montenegro, 2018). Since 2017, Julia is a Savarez-Artist and her debut CD Giocosa was published in the same year.

Julia launched her performing career at the age of 16 with the well-known Concierto de Aranjuez for guitar and orchestra by Joaquin Rodrigo and has played as a soloist and chamber musician in places all over the world, such as Mexico, Russia, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands.

Vera Karner rodila se u Beču 1994. Studirala je kod prof. S. Neubauera u Beču, prof. J. R. Wehlea i S. Meyer u Lübecku te prof. F. Bende u Berlinu. Osvojila je nekoliko nagrada na domaćim i inozemnim glazbenim natjecanjima, kao i druga priznanja i stipendije, među ostalim nagrade na Natjecanju Fidelio u Beču 2015., Ad Infinitum u Lübecku, na natjecanju Yamaha u Njemačkoj, te glazbenu nagradu Lionsa u Austriji. God. 2015. dodijeljena joj je nagrada Fanny Mendelssohn za promicanje mladih glazbenika i izašao joj je debitantski album koji je snimila s kontrabasistom Dominikom Wagnerom (Berlin Classics). Mlada je umjetnica dosad održala solističke i komorne koncerte uz filharmonijske orkestre Državne opere iz Varne, odnosno Državne opere iz Stare Zagore (Bugarska), Poljsku komornu filharmoniju iz Sopota, Cameratu Musicu Hungaricu (u bečkom Konzerthausu) te Cameratom Universidad Andrés Bello iz Čilea. Dodatno je koncertantno iskustvo stekla nastupima uz orkestar Bečke državne opere i Bečki simfonijski orkestar. Svirala je u bečkom Musikvereinu (ove godine i u sklopu koncertnog ciklusa mladih glazbenika) i KonzerthausuKonzerthausu u Berlinu te na raznim glazbenim festivalima.

 

Nicole Henter rodila se 1994. u Budimpešti, gdje je počela učiti glasovir u dobi od pet godina. Zarana je pokazivala zanimanje i za flautu koju je počela učiti kao sedmogodišnjakinja. Preselivši se s obitelji u Beč 2006., nastavila je učiti flautu kod prof. W. Schulza na Sveučilištu za glazbu i izvedbene umjetnosti u Beču. Preddiplomski je studij završila u klasi prof. Karl-Heinza Schütza 2018. Tijekom studija provela je godinu studentske razmjene u Münchenu, kod prof. A. Lieberknecht. Trenutačno polazi magistarski studij kod prof. B. Gisler-Haase na Sveučilištu za glazbu i izvedbene umjetnosti u Beču. Tijekom svog umjetničkog razvoja Nicole Henter osvajala je nagrade na različitim natjecanjima (Flautističko natjecanje Zoltán Jeney u Budimpešti, Međunarodno natjecanje pijanista u Beču, Natjecanje Fidelio, Natjecanje Prof. Dichler) i sudjelovala na mnogim majstorskim tečajevima. Stipendistica je Međunarodne glazbene akademije u Liechtensteinu. Dosad je nastupala uz orkestre u Francuskoj, Švicarskoj, Njemačkoj, Slovačkoj, Mađarskoj, te kao solistica i komorna glazbenica na različitih festivalima (Festival Le Bonheur MusicalSion FestivalWien Modern, itd.). Već je debitirala u Musikvereinu i Konzerthausu u Beču, te Musikvereinu u Grazu.

 

Vera Karner was born in Vienna in 1994 and studied with Prof. S. Neubauer in Vienna,  Prof. J. R. Wehle and S. Meyer in Lübeck, and Prof. F. Benda in Berlin. She has won several prizes at national and international music competitions, as well as various awards and grants. These include the Fidelio Competition 2015 in Vienna, Ad Infinitum Lübeck, Yamaha Music Competition, Germany, and Lions Music Prize, Austria. In 2015, she won the Fanny Mendelssohn Förderpreis and released her debut album, together with the double bass player Dominik Wagner (Berlin Classics). The young artist has given concerts as a soloist with a number of ensembles, including the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Varna State Opera and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Stara Zagora State Opera (both in Bulgaria), the Polish Chamber Philharmonic of Sopot, Camerata Musica Hungarica (at the Vienna Konzerthaus) and Camerata Universidad Andrés Bello of Chile. She has amassed further experience of playing with orchestras in concerts with the orchestra of the Viennese State Opera and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. She has performed in concert at Vienna’s Musikverein and Konzerthaus venues, Konzerthaus Berlin and at various festivals. Vera Karner appeared within the concert series Young Musicans at Vienna’s Musikverein in 2019.

 

Nicole Henter was born in Budapest (Hungary) in 1994. She started her piano lessons at the age of five at the music school in her hometown. While she was studying the piano, she took an interest in flute and began taking lessons at the age of seven. After moving with her family to Vienna in 2006, she continued her studies in flute with Prof. Wolfgang Schulz at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. Eventually, she completed her Bachelor studies with Prof. Karl-Heinz Schütz in 2018. In between, she spent an exchange year in Munich with Prof. Andrea Lieberknecht. Currently, she is in her Master Studies under Prof. Barbara Gisler-Haase at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna.
Throughout her artistic development Nicole Henter was winning prizes in various competitions (Zoltán Jeney Flute Competition in Budapest, International Viennese Pianists Competition, Fidelio Competition, Prof. Dichler Competition) and took part in numerous masterclasses. She has been a sholarship recipient of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras in France, Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, and as a soloist and chamber music partner in different festivals (Festival Le Bonheur MusicalSion FestivalWien Modern, etc.) Nicole Henter has already made her debuts at Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, as well as at Musikverein in Graz.
